Haul! Wilkinson's and Superdrug plus RED NOSE DAY!

Hey guys! So, I finished college early today so I thought I'd have a wander into town before I had to get to Oxfam (I volunteer for a few hours on Wednesdays). I went to Wilko's (like a discount shop for anyone who doesn't know - you can get the same sort of stuff as from places like Boots and Superdrug but it's a bit cheaper) and Superdrug. Hope you enjoy!

First up, I bought Veet Suprem Essence Hair Removal Cream. This was £6 from Wilko's, but you can get it from pretty much anywhere. I think we can all guess what it does, right?

Second, also from Wilko's, I bought Olay Smoothing Face Scrub. This was only £2.49, which surprised me because I didn't think Olay was such a cheap brand. Although it is a scrub, it's said to be gentle enough to use everyday; I may do a review of this when I've used it a few times.

Lastly from Wilko's I bought a Charlie Chic Bodyspray. I didn't intend to buy anything like this, but they were having a promotion and it was just £1 so I bought it to go in my college bag.

Next, I went to Superdrug. I bought these Nourishing Nail Polish Remover Pads for only 99p - total bargain! I've always used pads but I'm thinking of trying the liquid remover. If anyone knows of a good brand let me know and I'll try it out!

The last thing I bought from Superdrug was Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Daily Nail Treatment. You just put a thin coat on bare nails each day, and it delivers 'visible results in 1 week'. I believe this was £4.98, and I'll definitely do a review of this in a few weeks and let you know if it works!

This is my favourite purchase today. It's a diNOSEaur! It's for Red Nose Day, and it's so cute!!! It was £1 from Oxfam and I just couldn't resist his little face.

Finally, I bought a book (of course) from Oxfam. This was only £1.29, and it's The Sunflower Forest by Torey Hayden. Hayden is known for her books documenting her experiences with the children she works with as an Educational Psychologist and Special Needs Teacher. I love those sorts of books (I'm actually debating between doing a Law degree and becoming a City Lawyer, or doing a Psychology degree and becoming a Clinical Psychologist, possibly specialising in Children or Forensics), and although this is a fiction novel and not one of her non-fiction books, I just couldn't resist. Expect a book review when I finish it!

So that's basically what I did today - shopped! Hope you enjoyed the haul and let me know if you've tried any of the products or read the book. See you soon!
